downgraded energy. the reason is you have a high oil price here and i think the best way to play that is through tell cals. the s&p 500 just to be clear, about 3.5% of the s&p is materials, two-thirds of that is chemical. our entire portfolio exposure isn't chemical. we're not saying buy metal or mining. we're saying buy chemicals. they're the ben iffishry of high oil. that looks better than industrials, which look expensive, where i don't see why the oil price will go up over demand. >> what's the deal of tech over discretionary? so in an improving economic environment, why favor something other than discretionary? is it just the fact that they've done so well this year? >> you know, as you know, you have to be knew nuance and discretionary. the bend on tech is large ily in software. i don't believe that capital spending will pick up a lot from the big companies next year. i don't think they need to do it. i don't think demand is strong enough. what they'll do instead of putting buildings or people in place, they'll invest in productivity. i like that software. we've been making a bi
